Innovation for prostate cancer stratification and focal treatment

Active surveillance and treatment are key elements in the prostate cancer care management. Successful care management depends on good active surveillance of patients and successful treatment using targeted and tailored therapies to each patient profile.
At the same time, more and more urologists want to benefit from fusion systems that facilitate a personalized care management with a simple workflow and unique features designed around them and their clinical needs.
In this webinar, Dr Messas will introduce the advanced use of fusion system. First, he explains the value of using the 2nd Look Fusion (a technology that goes beyond traditional biopsy procedures) illustrating with clinical case reports.
Then, Dr Toledano opens the discussion on morbidity in radiotherapy, hypofractionated radiotherapy, and high frequency radiotherapy.
Finally, they will talk about rectal spacer placement, fiducial marker insertion before a radiotherapy and then post-proctectomy applications (Rectal spacer placement in recurrence after RP, confirmation of post-prostectomy recurrence by PET-Choline…).

Prostate MRI fusion biopsy: more than just targeting

MRI-US fusion for prostate biopsy has become essential at expert centers. Using various fusion technologies, early adopters have been focused ONLY on hitting the PIRADS target. In this 1H webinar, Dr. Christopher Dixon (Good Samaritan Hospital – NY), will introduce another dimension of fusion biopsy, made possible with the highest precision technologies: 3D mapping of core location and its use in patient management and longitudinal disease monitoring.

Transperineal MRI/US Fusion Biopsy in local anesthesia: The diagnostics of the future?

Transperineal prostate biopsy under local anesthesia ( TP LA) is growing in popularity thanks to the latest advances in technology. Coupled with MRI-Ultrasound fusion, today the transperineal biopsy is particularly well-received among urologists in search of more efficient techniquesDuring this 45 minutes webinar, Dr Karsten Gunzel will present step by step how he performs TP LA in only 20 minutes from room preparation and material list to local anesthesia technique and targeted biopsy. Patient cases will be discussed.During the second half of the webinar, Dr Karsten will present his results after 1 year of practice and more than 500 procedures.

Role of MRI-targeted prostate biopsy in diagnosis and impact of treatment: techniques, technology and outcomes

MRI Ultrasound is becoming more popular and allows urologists to progress from blind, systematic biopsies to 3D mapped biopsies, targeted, and recorded.
During this 30 minutes webinar, Dr. Ehdaie will review the evolution of prostate biopsy and present evidence supporting the role of MRI/US fusion versus cognitive fusion biopsy. During the second part of the webinar, Dr. Gorin will highlight the KOELIS TRINITY® fusion system, in particular its features, including the Organ-Based Tracking (OBT Fusion®) technology and 3D Cartography.
Finally, patient cases will be presented to demonstrate how MRI/US fusion can significantly improve routine clinical care and guide therapy decisions.
