Precise Transperineal Fusion Prostate Biopsy Using Grid-Based or Freehand Techniques

The KOELIS Trinity^® 3D MRI/ultrasound fusion prostate biopsy system is designed to help clinicians perform transperineal interventions with total precision and simplicity, using a freehand approach or grid-based technique. Our system accommodates surgeon preference and specific procedural requirements by using live 3D ultrasound and Organ-Based Tracking Fusion^® to enable precision targeting of suspect areas. To support a variety of techniques, KOELIS also offers our full-grid Perine tool, for improved targeting of uniquely positioned anterior lesions.

3D Side-Fire Ultrasound Probe with Internal Motorized Array

KOELIS Trinity^® 3D imaging is made possible by our specially engineered ultrasound probe, equipped with a motorized head that rotates the ultrasound array within the probe’s housing. This unique technology facilitates a prostate scan in less than 3 seconds, without the need for manual sweep using a stepper stabilizer unit – this helps to improve prostate visualization and reduce patient discomfort during transperineal prostate biopsy.
